nannytraininglink at the Baby Show Olympia

The Baby Shownannytraininglink was delighted to be invited by Nutkin Nannies to share their stand at The Baby Show Olympia in October. The welcomingly-appointed stand displayed a vast array of information and generated interest aplenty in the services and advice being offered.

The opportunity to  speak about vocational training with parents and nannies face-to-face was invaluable. Visitors were particularly keen to understand how agencies check and source nannies …enquiries that gave both Sarah Cozens (the owner of Nutkin Nannies) and I the chance to extol the benefits of using a bona fide nanny agency for recruitment rather than turn to the admittedly cheaper but more risky “wild west” of the unregulated internet vacancies sites.

In keeping with its reputation as a professional and reputable agency, Nutkin Nannies, offers a fully personal service to ensure the integrity and reliability of the nannies, developing lasting relationships with its clients and nannies through personal meetings, interviews and regular contact.

Likewise, nannytraininglink enthusiastically promotes its personal service, conducting all its nanny and childcare training courses through face-to-face classroom/workshop sessions where the chance to share ideas and experiences in an informal setting with like-minded professionals provides an invaluable forum and excellent networking opportunities.  That personal engagement is critical not just when sourcing reliable and appropriately qualified and vetted childcare but also for ensuring that the nanny continues to further her/his interest in the profession to maintain career progression and better serve the needs of the children being looked after

Both Sarah (a Norland Nanny) and I have a formal education and continuing interests in the childcare profession matched by a passion for providing quality care that not only safeguards children but also encourages social and educational development. None of that is possible without continuous professional development, having access to training that enables those charged with looking after children firstly, to keep current their knowledge of legislation and regulations impacting on childcare and secondly, to maintain awareness of current trends and thinking within the childcare profession.

As a provider of specialist professional nanny training courses, nannytraininglink would like to thank Sarah at Nutkin Nannies for supporting its programme and for sharing its stand at the Baby Show. It was a great day!
